For the second season in a row Red Bull Crashed Ice travels south to the Mediterranean
Following a successful debut in 2017, Marseille will once again welcome the world's best Ice Cross Downhill skaters for the most southerly stop on the calendar. The action will take place on February 16-17, right in the heart of the city on the Bargemon square, just opposite the famous "Bonne Mère" basilica, with a huge crowd expected to turn out to cheer for French favourites, Pacome Schmitt and Tristan Dugerdil.
Although Marseille is not famous for experiencing icy cold winters, the track will be kept in tip-top condition thanks to advanced ice producing machinery. The spectacular track will present the skaters with a tough, obstacle-filled challenge as they power towards the finish line in the mythical "vieux port" of Marseille.
