Alice Zenz had her first taste of the ice when she began figure skating at the age of 6, and she is now a 9-time champion of Lower Austria in the sport. Her love of skating led her to ice hockey when she was 26, when she started playing for her hometown team,The Hawks, Not one to take it easy in the off-season, Alice enjoys staying fit through her love for Thai boxing and mud and obstacle races. She made her Red Bull Crashed Ice debut in Munich back in 2010, with her best performances to date being a win in Valkenburg in 2011, and, more recently a first-place finish in the 2015 Austria Riders Cup event. "The moment, at the two races I won, I glided over the finish line and I knew I had made it", says Alice, "I was freaking out!" Alice loves the speed, action, adrenaline and challenges that ice cross downhill provides, "There is nothing as great as the atmosphere at the races, nothing as great as the adrenalin rush you get when it says: "Riders ready! 5 seconds warning" and the gates open and you race down that track in front of thousands of people screaming and cheering."
